Friends Group has expanded its presence in the specialty chemicals sector through Aarav Salt & Chemicals Private Limited, marking a strategic step into high-value industrial and chemical manufacturing.
In 2024, the company commissioned a state-of-the-art Liquid Bromine manufacturing facility at Nani Chirai, Taluka Bhachau, District Kutch, near Gandhidham. Developed with advanced process technology and stringent quality-control systems, the facility has an installed production capacity of 1,000 MT per annum.
Designed to manufacture high-purity Bromine (Br₂), the plant caters to industries that require precision, consistency, and reliable chemical quality standards. The facility’s strategic location in Kutch, Gujarat, also provides strong logistical advantages and proximity to key industrial infrastructure and export connectivity.
Bromine produced by Friends Group serves as a critical raw material across multiple high-value sectors, including pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, specialty chemicals, industrial manufacturing, and performance materials.
